Overview
Mission
The mission of the RGIT Alumni Association is to strengthen, enlighten, inform and serve RGIT and their students with diverse alumni and friends through promoting the best interest in technology, strong leadership, dynamic programs, effective communication and fulfilling the gap between Industry and academics. All alumni are invited to join RGIT Community College in the pursuit of best-in-class status in programs through excellence in teaching, scholarship and service.
Vision
The vision of RGIT Alumni Association is to build a strong RGIT ALUMNI network. Alumni are the face of the college in the corporate world. Their performance at work brings reputation and goodwill to our college. To celebrate our Alumni’s progress and achievements in career, we endow our esteemed Alumni, the aforementioned awards in various different categories like academic excellence, technical excellence, entrepreneurial excellence, etc.
Aims and Objectives
To extend support to the students of MCT’s RGIT by guiding them through placement and industrial training opportunities. To ensure they are well-prepared with the necessary skills, information, and confidence required for successful recruitment. To create a structured environment that connects students with companies and promotes smooth execution of all placement-related activities.
To act as a bridge between the college and industries by facilitating meaningful interaction on emerging developments across engineering fields. To keep students and faculty updated with the latest technological trends, industrial practices, and skill demands. To promote collaboration through seminars, workshops, internships, and industry-driven initiatives that enhance practical exposure.
To assist the college in promoting R&D activities, testing, and consultancy that strengthen its technical capabilities. To encourage faculty and students to engage in innovative projects that address real industrial and societal challenges. To support collaborations, resource sharing, and knowledge exchange that enhance the institution’s research impact.
To encourage students of the college by awarding prizes to those who demonstrate exceptional performance in academics, sports, and cultural activities. To recognize and celebrate individual talent so students feel motivated to pursue excellence in their chosen fields. To build a culture of appreciation that inspires healthy competition, dedication, and well-rounded development.
To enrich the central library by donating books and subscribing to journals in key areas of engineering and technology. To ensure students and faculty have access to updated reference material that supports learning, research, and innovation. To strengthen the academic environment by improving the availability of high-quality technical resources for all.
To organize programs on personality development, interview techniques, leadership development, health education, yoga, literature, sports, and more. To help students build confidence, communication skills, and overall professional readiness through structured training sessions. To promote holistic growth by offering opportunities that enhance physical well-being, mental clarity, creativity, and teamwork.
