Selection Procedure

As outlined in the CET Cell’s official brochure for FY 2025–26 engineering admissions, the selection procedure begins with mandatory online registration and document upload (SSC/HSC marksheets, MHT‑CET/JEE scores, caste/domicile certificates), followed by e‑scrutiny or in‑person verification at facilitation centers, after which candidate applications are confirmed.

Admission Process through CET Cell and CAP Rounds

The CET Cell then publishes a provisional merit list, allows grievance submissions, before releasing the final merit list. Based on this final merit list, CAP seat matrices are displayed, and candidates submit their option forms (preferences for colleges/branches). During each of the four CAP rounds, allotments are made in order of merit and preferences; candidates must accept and freeze or opt for betterment as per CET Cell rules, complete seat acceptance fee payment, and after self-scrutiny of the document uploaded in online application, candidate should report to allotted institute for seeking admission.  Seats unfilled through CAP are then offered during institute-level rounds, all governed under the CET Cell’s centralized, merit-based framework.

Undertaking, Eligibility, and Admission Compliance

Every student and his/her parent / guardian has to sign an undertaking before he/she is actually admitted to the college. This undertaking covers different behavioral and disciplinary facets. The candidate passing the qualifying examination, other than H.S.C. Examination (XII Std) Maharashtra Board and admitted to any course in Engineering at this college will have to produce the eligibility certificate from the University of Mumbai or other to which the college is affiliated, before his/her admission. The applicants can contact the institute office for any clarification in this regard. In the event of the State government taking any decision or framing the policy pertaining to F.E. Admission procedure, the same will be applicable to admission procedure with immediate effect
